Our environmental commitments

Over the years, Banania has distinguished itself by its innovative advances!

In 2011, Banania pioneered the use of pouring bags in the chocolate powder market. These bags reduce the use of plastic by about 70% compared to the boxes on the market.

In 2012, Banania chose to launch a spread without palm oil, a first in the spread market. Today, our spreads are still free of coloring, preservatives and palm oil.

Since 2020, Banania has been offering certified organic references: a chocolate powder in 750g format and Nescafé® Dolce Gusto® compatible chocolate powder capsules.

Banania is also continuing its efforts on packaging and is the first chocolate powder player to develop a 100% recyclable and resealable cardboard box for greater practicality with its Banania Less Sugar innovation.

All of these steps are the result of a strong commitment by Banania to limit its impact on the environment and meet consumer expectations while maintaining the quality and accessibility of its products.
